Strange Tongues is a monthly open-concept open-stage performance series, it takes place the fourth
Sunday of each month at the Oasis (294 College Street) in Toronto, Ontario.
Each show features two headlining performers and 15 open mic spots. Doors open at 7:30pm
and open mic readers are encouraged to come early to sign up.
We welcome performance poetry, fiction, spoken word, dance, comedy and short theatrical
sketches. Open stage performers are reminded that they are limited to 5 min. of material.
Strange Tongues is also the premiere spoken word show in the city to regularly offer
a sales table, writers and visual artists are welcome to bring the materials to sell and display
in this area.
Cover is $2. All ages always welcome.
